Pervious Concrete Pavements – the Greenest Pavement Solution for Stormwater Management

Pervious pavement takes concrete to the next level. Pervious concrete is specifically designed with little or no sand, which creates a void structure allowing stormwater runoff to drain and naturally filter through the pavement.  This runoff is naturally purified prior to being reabsorbed into the earth, replenishing ground water and aquifers and, in many cases, reducing the need for dry and wet detention areas.

Aside from these benefits, pervious concrete’s aesthetically pleasing look is created in part by its ability to be colored and textured to match any environment.
