The key to high quality asphalt paving is building the right skilled labor and the right equipment to the job. When paving a large parking lot, large DOT Certified Pavers, compactors and milling machines should be the standard equipment. On a smaller parking lot, such as a fast food restaurant, smaller DOT Certified equipment is a better fit. On cart/walking paths an asphalt paver specifically designed might be a better option. The pavement consistency and smoothness will increase longevity by using the most technologically advanced equipment.
